Let's find your thread.

Every leader has more to say than they realise. My work is to find it, shape it, and make sure it reaches the people who need to act on it.

How I Work

There is always a red thread. A line of logic that connects who you are, what you stand for, and what you need people to do. My job is to find it fast, and pull it through everything.

When I start working with a new client, I don't start with frameworks or templates. I listen. I ask the questions that get to the heart of it quickly. After two decades working inside and alongside complex, matrixed organisations, I know which questions unlock the thinking and which answers matter.

That pattern recognition is what makes the work move.

Once the thread is clear, the language follows. The work takes many forms: executive positioning and thought leadership strategy, ghostwriting for CEOs and senior leaders, speechwriting and narrative frameworks for moments of transformation or crisis, coaching leaders to find and hold their own voice under pressure. Sometimes it is a single speech. Sometimes it is a complete communications architecture built to hold across markets and channels.

What stays constant is the intent: to craft messages and stories that are precise, credible, and built to make people act.

The Experience Behind the Practice

From the editorial floors of Toronto to the boardrooms of Seoul, Paris, and Zurich — the work has always been the same: find the thread, and pull it through.

A career spanning publishing, investor relations, government affairs, and brand, corporate, employee engagement and executive communications has sharpened the ability to read a room, understand what is really at stake, and find the thread that pulls things forward. Each context different. Each one adding another layer of skill.

The red thread has always been working closely with leaders — at Hyundai Motors in Seoul, helping C-suite executives land complex messages for global audiences, then in Paris advising organisations including Amundi Asset Management, Hermès, Sanofi, L'Oréal, AbbVie, Chaumet, and LVMH, then in Zurich as the inaugural Global Director of Brand Voice at La Prairie, directing executive communications for the CEO and executive committee across more than fifty markets.

Since founding Red Thread Advisory, the practice has brought me alongside leaders navigating some of the most complex communications challenges in business today. Clients have included Kering, Julius Baer, L'Occitane, and Chaumet.

A Master of Corporate Communications from Cornell University and a Master of Arts in Communications from Toronto Metropolitan University underpin my practice.
